MSI had so many fantastic new products on the show floor of Nangang this year at Computex 2025, but one of them was truly a step above the rest: the MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition. Check it out:

MSI partnered with Japan's renowned OKADAYA, blending Yamanaka lacquer artistry and featuring "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" with each layer of the artistry on the lid of the laptop exquisitely done. The new MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition is beautifully handcrafted, and it looks absolutely stunning in the flesh.

I spent some time just in awe at its beauty, with MSI explaining to me that there are 8 layers of lacquer painting, with each and every layer added by hand, with adhesive applied as the base for the gold powder throughout the waves, the MSI logo, and the signature of the artist. It looks good in these pictures, but even better in person.

It's not just the rear lid of the laptop that looks great, but there are some other little finishes on the Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition, including golden text on the I/O ports, piano gloss on the keyboard with gold lettering, and more. MSI will only be making 1000 of these new custom laptops, and if you're lucky enough to get one, you'll get a laser-engraved unique number so you know which one you've got (I'd love to have 256/1000).

Inside, we've got up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V "Lunar Lake" processor with 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 on-package memory, 1TB of Gen4 SSD storage, and a 13.3-inch 2.8K (2880 x 1800) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and even better: it's an OLED panel.
On the I/O side of things, we've got dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, a microSD card reader, and HDMI 2.1 that's ready for some 4K 120Hz output to a bigger display or a TV (so you can turn the laptop around and have that eye-candy lid to stare at).

MSI is going all-out with the beautiful Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition laptop, with the same styling on a custom mouse pad and wireless mouse, which is a nice touch. It truly looks astonishing in person.
