TL;DR: The ASUS ROG Falcata wireless gaming keyboard features an innovative split 75% ergonomic design with adjustable silicone wrist rests, ROG HFX 2 magnetic switches rated for 100 million keypresses, multifunction controls, 8K polling, tri-mode connectivity, and up to 610 hours of battery life for competitive gaming.

The new ROG Falcata, announced at Computex 2025, is ASUS's new wireless gaming keyboard with an innovative split design. Yes, splitting the keyboard in two offers gamers one of the most ergonomic 75% form factor options on the market - and it's packed with impressive design touches.

Not only does the keyboard split, but this feature extends to the silicone wrist rest. With multiple adjustable height and tilt options, it can support a wide range of orientations, including placing the left side of the keyboard right next to your mouse for immersive competitive or esports gaming.

Naturally, joining the two sides delivers a traditional keyboard experience; however, the two individual pieces do not snap together with a strong connection, allowing multiple orientations, including keeping the halves slightly apart.

Underneath the hood, you'll find the latest ROG HFX 2 magnetic switches, rated at 100 million keypresses. These switches feature adjustable actuation points with an impressive 0.01mm accuracy (customizable from 0.1 to 3.5mm). Hall-effect magnetic switches like this support the latest competitive features, like rapid trigger, and are quickly becoming a must-have feature in premium boards.

When you add multiple layers of silicon and Poron foam, the ROG Falcata's keys deliver a smooth type-feel and a great sound. At Computex 2025, we got to go hands-on with the ROG Falcata and walked away wanting nothing more than to load up a game like DOOM: The Dark Ages and play for hours.

Plus, we love the new multifunction knob and LED bar located on the left side of the keyboard. It offers quick access to media and RGB controls and allows you to adjust the actuation point for the switches on-the-fly without having to open an app. The ROG Falcata also supports 8K polling (8,000 Hz) via ROG SpeedNova 8K, with tri-mode connectivity - Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, and wired - and up to 610 hours of battery life.

Here are some more shots, captured at Computex 2025.
