Apex Legends is the hottest game on the planet right now, with developer Respawn Entertainment racking up a record-breaking 50 million players since its launch jsut a few weeks ago. But now that we're in March, we are very close to the first Battle Pass for the game as well as its first season to kick off.

The first Battle Pass for the game reportedly kicks off on March 12, and will arrive with new Legends, weapons, and loot. While we know that the first Battle Pass will have a bunch of new content, we don't know exactly which Legends, weapons, or loot to expect. There is the loosest rumor to go by right now about the first new Legend in Apex Legends will be Octane, according to someone who took a photo of the character "off of the screen of someone working on the project". Alrighty.

Daily Esports is behind the news from a source of theirs, with the site adding that the first Battle Pass will launch on March 12 and will "not be purchasable with coins, and will be a static item in the shop". Octane is reportedly a "central promotional figure" for the Battle Pass, and "should be released either alongside the Battle Pass or just before it" according to Daily Esports' source.

I reported a few days ago that there is supposedly another 11 characters coming to Apex Legends in the near future, as well as Twitch streaming legend shroud teasing that "there is gonna be some shit" coming to the game soon that we should "just wait" and "be patient" as it'll be worth it.
