If you didn't know by now, Bethesda and id Software are celebrating 25 years of DOOM and apart of the celebration, DOOM for the Nintendo Switch developer, Panic Button is bringing a new patch to the handheld console version.

Panic Button has taken care of several AAA titles arriving on the Nintendo Switch, they formulated the ports for; Wolfenstein II, Rocket League and the recently released Warframe. In celebration of the lifetime of DOOM, Panic Button has announced that they will be releasing a new patch for the Nintendo Switch verison of the game.

The update will contain performance increases, ability to add recently played with players to your friends list and in-game video capture. Its awesome to see Panic Button show some love towards DOOM to coincide with its 25th year anniversary, especially considering those players of DOOM on the Switch may not be the biggest majority of DOOM players.
