EVO 2018's most watched game was Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ was the most watched title at this years EVO 2018, pushing numbers past standing records through Twitch.

As EVO 2018 comes to a close, we now learn from viewing statistics that the Dragon Ball FighterZ finale was the most watched part of the event. The live viewing pushed the EVO records to new heights through Twitch.

Over the course of EVO 2018, titles such as Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. 4 and Dragon Ball FighterZ were played. Dragon Ball FighterZ took the cake for the most watched game, during its Sunday night finals the livestream on Twitch hit an all time high of 257,000 concurrent viewers. This broke the record for the highest viewer count ever recorded for EVO.

During the peak of the livestream EVO actually managed to sneak the top position on Twitch, beating other juggernaut titles such as Fortnite, League of Legends and PUBG. In other news about Dragon Ball FighterZ, Bandai Namco just revealed a new fighter throughout their EVO 2018 trailer, some would even say he is quite "cool."
