Following on from the events of the 'Planet of the Apes' prequels 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' and its follow-up 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes', the third entry 'War for the Planet of the Apes' is set to bridge the gap a little closer to the 1967 original. 20th Century Fox has today released the final trailer for the upcoming feature ahead of its July premier.

Motion capture artist Andy Serkis dons the suit for the third time to play Caesar, the fearless ape leader who spearheaded the rebellion against the humans and which ultimately led to our downfall. Series newcomer Woody Harrelson joins for a new role as a ruthless army veteran who commands the last vestiges of humanity's forces.
