Action Soulslike Lies of P has achieved noteworthy success with 3 million copies sold, publisher NeoWiz has announced.

Released in 2023, hack-and-slash action game Lies of P was instantly recognized among gamers for its fast-paced gameplay and imaginative, tough boss fights. It quickly became a breakout hit for Korean games publisher NeoWiz, and in less than two years on the market, Lies of P has now sold 3 million units across all platforms.
The news comes shortly after a new expansion, Overture, was released for Lies of P earlier this month. The Overture DLC is currently reviewing favorably among fans.
For its part, publisher NeoWiz is giving out bonuses to the people who worked on Lies of P in the form of money, vacation, and even free games hardware.
According to reports from Korean electronics news site The Elec, the Lies of P publisher is doling out annual bonuses worth 10 million won (about $7,300), two weeks of vacation time, and even a free Nintendo Switch 2 to all employees at Round 8, the studio that made the game.
Nexon is also doing something similar, and plans to give its workers Switch 2 consoles, but there's just one problem: The company can't even buy enough Switch 2 consoles to meet its own target.
A sequel to Lies of P has been confirmed, and is set to release sometime in 2026 on PC and console.
How does Lies of P compare to other games in the same Soulslike genre? A quick comparison: CI Games' AA Lords of the Fallen sold 1 million copies in 10 days.
