Developer ShiftUp says that Stellar Blade is the best-selling Korean singleplayer game ever, and shows the game sold one-third of its total copies in just 3 days.

Stellar Blade is a big hit for both Sony and Korean games developer ShiftUp. Thanks to the recent PC release, Stellar Blade has now sold over 3 million on both PlayStation 5 and PC combined. Over 1 million of these sales were made on PC in a three-day period, the developer has announced.
These sales metrics are explosive for ShiftUp. To put things into perspective, Stellar Blade's PC version sold as many copies as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 did across a 3-day span, but games like Elden Ring Nightreign moved 2 million copies in 1 day. Stellar Blade's sales also unlock an interesting milestone for Korea. According to ShiftUp, Stellar Blade is the best-performing singleplayer game that was made domestically, which makes sense, as online games are more popular in Korea.
"...within three days of release, it sold over 1 million copies worldwide, achieving the highest level of performance in the history of single-player games developed domestically..."
Right now, Stellar Blade is the most popular singleplayer PlayStation game on PC, and there are rumors that ShiftUp might bring Stellar Blade to the Switch 2 but nothing has been confirmed so far.
Check below an exhaustive list of Stellar Blade's accomplishments straight from the developer:
Stellar Blade, which was released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive title in April of last year, surpassed 3 million copies in cumulative global sales across all platforms in just over a year since its release.
Following the overwhelming support and favorable reviews at the time of its console release, the PC version, which was officially released on June 12, is also receiving enthusiastic responses from users around the world based on its excellent action and top-notch optimization.
Stellar Blade is a AAA action adventure game developed by ShiftUp, the first SIE second party in Korea. After its exclusive launch on PlayStation 5 last year, it received great attention from global gamers, reaching the top of the pre-order rankings in over 60 countries.
Based on its excellent gameplay, including extreme action and beautiful graphics, it recorded a Metacritic user rating of 9.2 and won eight awards in the 'PS Blog Game of the Year' with the participation of over 1.6 million PlayStation users, proving both its popularity and artistry through favorable reviews from both critics and the public.
The PC version released this month achieved the #1 spot on the Steam global sales rankings on the day of release, and surpassed 180,000 concurrent users, the highest record for a SIE single-player game since its release on Steam.
In addition, out of over 8,500 user reviews on the first day of release, over 96% gave it an 'overwhelmingly positive' rating, and within three days of release, it sold over 1 million copies worldwide, achieving the highest level of performance in the history of single-player games developed domestically, and continuing its remarkable success in all directions.
