Acer has just expanded its Nitro gaming line with the new Nitro AI gaming laptops, featuring new slim models, and a new Nitro 20 desktop PC.
The new Acer Nitro A Igaming laptops are Copilot+ PCs featuring an AMD Ryzen AI 300 series "Strix Point" APU and NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 50 series Laptop GPUs, while the new Nitro 20 desktop uses AI processors alongside the GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. Acer says it is "focusing on better energy efficiency with a smaller footprint" for its new Nitro 20 desktop PC.
Acer is introducing a new 18-inch Nitro AI gaming laptop as well as 3 new 16-inch models, with new slim models introduced for gaming and productivity on the go. All of the new Nitro AI gaming laptops feature up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 "Strix Point" APU, and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU.

The new Nitro 18 AI and Nitro AI 16 gaming laptops can be outfitted with up to 32GB of DDR5 memory, and up to 2TB of Gen4 SSD storage.
Starting with the new Acer Nitro 18 AI gaming laptop with a large 18-inch panel with up to a 2560 x 1600 (1600p) resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, while the Nitro 16 AI features a 16-inch display with up to the same 1600p res and a slightly higher 180Hz refresh rate. Cooling-wise, all the devices are supported by dual-fan, quad-intake and quad-exhaust technology. The thermal systems of 18-inch and 16-inch powerhouses get an added boost with liquid metal thermal grease on the processors and vector heat pipes for optimized heat transfer.

Acer's new Nitro 20 is a budget-friendly PC system that features an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 "Strix Point" APU based on the Zen 5 architecture, while also including an Intel Core i5-13420H option. The latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 is also able to be optioned in, with support options in this desktop PC being up to a 1TB HDD and 1TB SSD (kinda sad for a desktop with such little storage options).
