Ahead of its release next week, PlayStation has revealed the set of enhancements Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be getting on the PS5 and PS5 Pro.
Writing in a new update on the official PlayStation blog, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be releasing onto both PlayStation 5 consoles with DualSense controller features such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, with the addition of the lightbar on the controller being linked to Indy's current status.
For example, if Indy enters combat, the LED light around the touchpad will turn yellow or pulse red if Indy's health gets low. As for performance, PlayStation writes that the title benefits from SSD optimization for "frictionless loading" that's paired with a stable 60FPS and a "high-quality resolution."
The blog post confirms that both consoles will use ray-tracing features and include global illumination for greater lighting detail. As for the PlayStation 5 Pro, the blog post states that it will be able to achieve higher and more consistent frame rates along with image clarity. The article specifically states that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will run with a 4K native resolution with advanced ray-tracing on the PS5 Pro.

The blog post doesn't state the frame rate on the PS5 Pro will be 60FPS at native 4K with advanced ray-tracing, but I'm certainly hoping so, especially considering the blog post states the PS5 Pro will be able to "achieve higher and more consistent frame rates", and the base PS5 is able to achieve 60FPS with a "high quality resolution," which is presumably a resolution between 2560 x 1440p and 4K (3840 x 2160).
"Playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at a native 4K resolution really is the best way to appreciate the level of detail the team at MachineGames has poured into every corner of the world," says Production Director John Jennings. "You could spend hours just walking around the different environments admiring every little thing, from each artifact in Marshall College's impressive collection to the verdant beauty of Sukhothai's jungles."
