In an age where we're slowly going port-less, and if Apple had its way we'd be living our lives from dongles, so VAIO has changed this offering ALL THE PORTS on its new SX12 laptop. Check out the new 12.5-inch laptop and the ports you get:

We're talking:

  • Ethernet
  • An SD card slot
  • VGA(!)
  • A headphone jack

Inside, we can expect an Intel 8th-Gen CPU in either Core i5 or Core i7 (quad-core chips) with up to 16GB of RAM, and up to a 1TB SSD. VAIO is offering up a nice 14-hour battery life, a full-sized "silent keyboard", optional LTE connectivity, a multi-touch trackpad with two buttons, a fingerprint sensor, and anti-glare coating on the 12.5-inch display.

The new VAIO SX12 will first splash down in Japan for anywhere between $1100 and $2000 depending on what internal hardware you opt for, and the choice of color.
