OnePlus teams up with DxO for the OnePlus 5's camera

OnePlus has confirmed that they will launch the OnePlus 5 this summer, and many are excited about OnePlus' upcoming flagship.

Their fans now have a reason for even more excitement. OnePlus has announced that they've teamed up with DxO to enhance the photography experience on their upcoming flagship.

DxO is most well-known for creating the defining photography benchmark, the DxOMark. They've got years of imaging experience and expertise, both for professional cameras and for smartphones.

A OnePlus staff member explained on the company's official blog that they have been putting a lot of resources into the camera and that they are excited to be working on the OnePlus 5 with DxO.

The OnePlus 5 is rumored to have a dual rear camera setup.

For now, the HTC U11 has the highest DxOMark score, 90. The Galaxy S8 scores an 88. It will be interesting to see if OnePlus can beat that score with its upcoming flagship.
