JPR notes that AMD's market share dropped to 29.5% in Q4, 0.3% down from its 29.8% in Q3 - but comparing it to Q4 2015 with 21.6% - AMD has come a long way. NVIDIA has increased with AMD's missing 0.3% to 70.5% this quarter, but they have dropped significantly from 78.3% in the Q4 2015.

Jon Peddie Research has been collecting AIB shipment numbers quarterly backing all the way through to 1987, where they noticed that the AIB market increased 5.6% this quarter - while the desktop PC market also increased by 19.4%.

With FPS gaming since the pre-Quake days, where you were insulted if you used a mouse to aim, he has been addicted to gaming and hardware ever since. His addiction to GPU technology is unwavering, and with next-gen NVIDIA GPUs about to launch alongside 4K 144Hz HDR G-Sync gaming monitors and BFGDs (65-inch 4K 120Hz HDR G-Sync TVs) there has never been a time to be more excited about technology.
