EA announced today that their newest entry to the FIFA game franchise will be free to play for the weekend, only on Xbox One and PS4.
The 10 hours trial period will start on this Thursday, November 24th, at 10 am PST to Sunday, Nov.27th, at 11:59 PST. During this trial period, you will be able to play with all the in-game features, Ultimate Team and a portion of the new story mode " The Journey."
In The Journey, you will be in the shoes of a prospect, Alex Hunter, as he rises or falls in the Premier League, based on your performance in the game and your decisions. Players need to take note that their progress during the trial period and transferred or purchased FIFA points can only be kept if they purchase the full game. If not, it will be not refunded.
To enjoy this trial, players from both platform need an EA account and "PERSISTENT INTERNET CONNECTION". EA also specified that PS4 owners with EA Access who played the game during the pre-release may not get full access to the 10 hours free trial.
