It's not just Fallout--the brutal anti-Nazi shooter series Wolfenstein is also getting a TV series.

Wolfenstein is coming to the small screen, with its signature violence in tow. Amazon is developing a Wolfenstein TV series for its Prime Video streaming service, Variety reports, with a one-sentence description summing up the show: "The story of killing Nazis is evergreen."
Kilter Films, who also worked with Bethesda on the popular Fallout TV series, will be involved with three executive producers attached to the Wolfenstein project. Patrick Somerville, who executive produced Netflix's dark psychological sci-fi series Maniac, will create, write, and executive produce the Wolfenstein show. MachineGames' Jerk Gustafsson will also serve as a producer.
Wolfenstein is hailed as the first-ever FPS, and its modern iterations depict a bloody alternate history ruled by wanton fascism and violence. Over the past decade, MachineGames has released multiple Wolfenstein games with themes of chaotic satire and punishing Nazism with utter brutality--a sentiment that may be difficult to adapt into a TV series.
The last game in the series, Youngblood, released in 2019. There's been rumors of a third Wolfenstein game, but MachineGames had previously been working on the hugely ambitious Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for Bethesda.
In the past, Bethesda's Todd Howard has said that he's open to more live action adaptations of hit games, but not every series is a good fit:
"I think we have to be really thoughtful about finding the right partners, what does it mean for the franchise..."
The Fallout TV series, meanwhile, has wrapped filming on the second season (which is dropping this holiday) and a third season has also been greenlit.
