Lenovo has just unveiled its first-ever ThinkPad laptop in white, with the introduction of its new ThinkPad X9 Aura AI Edition. Check it out:

The new Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura AI Edition is dubbed the "White Moonlight" edition, and it's exclusive to the Chinese market, powered by Intel's new Core Ultra 200V series "Lunar Lake" CPU. The company is offering its new laptop in both Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 9 processors, with up to 32GB of RAM, and integrated Intel Arc Xe2 GPU.
Lenovo has designed its new ThinkPad X9 Aura AI Edition laptop for business users and content creators who want the power ready for AI workloads, with an integrated NPU on the Lunar Lake CPU offering up to 48 TOPS of AI workload performance.
On the display side of things with the new Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura AI Edition laptop we've got a 14-inch OLED display with a native 2880 x 1800 resolution (2.8K) and a 16:10 aspect ratio, along with a super-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. There's also HDR support, 500 nits of typical brightness and up to 1100 nits of peak HDR brightness. The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, supports 10-bit color, and an ultra-fast 1ms response time.

Lenovo is using a dual-fan thermal system that intelligently stops when under low loads, reducing noise levels to just 17dB, while the battery is rated at 80Wh and good for up to 30 hours of video playback. There's a full-sized keyboard with 1.35mm of key travel, an 8-megapixel IR webcam, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 4 ports, as well as a full-sized HDMI 2.1 port that's good for 4K 120Hz output.
Unfortunately, Lenovo has removed its iconic red TrackPoint, which is a departure from the traditional ThinkPad lineup, and moving into a modern and minimalist world.

Lenovo's new ThinkPad X9 Aura AI Edition laptop starts at 12999 RMB, which works out to around $1810 USD.
