EA is ramping right into the reveal of its next-generation Battlefield game, where the company teased during its recent financial report that the new Battlefield game will be fully revealed by the summer, and released sometime between then and April 2026.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson talked up the release and reveal of Battlefield, referring to it as "a pivotal step" as the company moves into this fiscal year. Wilson said: "As we look to the future, we're confident in our ability to execute across a deep pipeline - beginning this summer with the highly anticipated reveal of Battlefield, a pivotal step in delivering on our next generation of blockbuster entertainment".
The company also unveiled a development update for the new Battlefield game, as well as its Battlefield Labs playtesting, confirming that new players from Europe, the United States, and Asia will soon be joining in on the new Battlefield fun. The developer said that the playtest will continue to expand in scale throughout May, inviting more and more players to jump into the game, as well as the introduction of new content in the weeks to come.
Deeper into the report, EA says that it expects its revenue for 2026 fiscal year to be driven by "the EA Sports portfolio, The Sims, and the launches of Battlefield and Skate".
