If you're worried about graphics cards getting hit by further price hikes, it seems those fears might be justified, as a new report indicates that NVIDIA is increasing its pricing considerably - and it's backed up by a second rumor that comes via YouTube.

The first report is from the Economic Daily in Taiwan (as spotted by Eurogamer), which cites a BenchLife report, and a claim that NVIDIA has just bumped up the price of its graphics cards by about 20% to 30%, which is a big leap.

It's noted that this follows two previous price hikes this year, one of which happened at the very start of 2026, and another which followed in May (just two months back). The latter increased the (now astronomical) price of the RTX 5090 only, but this time around, the rest of the Blackwell line-up is being repriced in an upward direction.

This is all the more believable when you consider the chatter around what's going to happen in the nearer-term with the RAM crisis. In short, matters are expected to get worse throughout the second half of this year, and maybe worse still in 2027. Of course, that does depend on who you listen to, but one thing I've noticed is that there are fewer optimistic voices out there these days, sadly.
