Detailed Look

ASUS is a company that takes great pride in its packaging and marketing, with the box for the GTX 980 Ti Poseidon Platinum being no exception. This is one of ASUS' most premium video cards, so let's take a look at the box.

We can see that this is a Republic of Gamers branded card from ASUS, with the nice tag of "air or liquid – your choice to chill" teased.

Around back, we have plenty of details on the cooling system that ASUS has deployed, as well as the detailed specifications on the card at the bottom.

Inside of the package, there's a box that keeps the card itself safe, with a little window to peek at it before you take it out of the box.

The ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti Poseidon Platinum in all its glory... it's a beautiful card.

The back of the card is covered with a huge back plate, keeping the rear of the card cool.

Display connectivity provided by ASUS includes 3 x DisplayPort, 1 x HDMI 2.0 and a DVI output.

You'll need 2 x 8-pin PCIe power connectors to power the card.

Can you imagine 4 of these cards in SLI?! I can, and I want it.
