PlayTV Released Early - The Beauty of Unboxing

The digital TV tuner add-on for the PlayStation 3 has been a long time coming, originally scheduled to be released this time last year, but its finally been released in the PAL European market.

The aptly named Cool Stuff got their hands on the finished product, and unbox it for your viewing pleasure, along with a quick review.

The USB add on allows the PlayStation 3 to recieve DTV transmissions, with twin HD tuners and record to the in-built PlayStation 3 hard drive.

The unit will be on sale through Europe next week, and will hit the Australian market early in 2009. The unit will not be available in the American market due to differing digital TV standards.
