Dell's new Alienware m15 can pack 6C/12T CPU, GTX 1070 Max-Q

The new Alienware m15 can come with 1080p 60Hz or 144Hz panel, right up to 4K60.

Dell has just announced the new Alienware m15, the latest in their growing line up for super-powered gaming notebooks with the new Alienware m15 being the smallest 15-inch gaming notebook Dell has ever made.

The new Alienware m15 can be configured with either an Intel Core i5-8500H or Core i7-8750H, with Dell offering an overclocked GeForce GTX 1060 or a higher-end GTX 1070 Max-Q. There will be a few different LCD configurations with 1080p 60Hz display with a TN panel while an IPS panel powers the 1080p 144Hz version of the Alienware m15 laptop. Dell will also offer a 4K 60Hz IPS panel, but none of them support G-Sync unfortunately.

Inside, there's up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, dual storage options for a 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD. There's also Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 Type-A ports, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.0 and even mini DisplayPort 1.3 connectivity.

Dell's new Alienware m15 laptop starts at $1299 and will be available starting October 25.
