Rare has released their second patch for Sea of Thieves, the last patch was a massive 19.53GB this time Rare manages to squeeze some performance improvements in a 450MB update.

In the recently released patch Rare will be changing the ship re-spawn distance, adding performance improvements and fixing some other bugs. Here is a few important changes in the patch notes, "Ship respawn distance - When a ship sinks, we have significantly increased the distance at which the crews new ship will respawn. Ships will now respawn outside of visible view of the ship that sank them." A bug has also been fixed concerning Mermaids and treasure. "Mermaid Teleport - It is no longer possible to accidentally teleport to your ship from the mermaid whilst holding treasure items."

Rare has also included in this patch performance improvements through adding "Multiple server and client crash fixes" Patch 1.0.2 will be automatically downloaded and for those that want to view the entire patch notes you can visit the official Sea of Thieves website here.
