The highly anticipated Netflix TV show The Witcher has had its pilot script finished, Lauren S. Hissrich has announced the news on her Twitter page.

Hissrich is known for her work on the Netflix's Marvel TV show The Defenders and Daredevil, she also did work on the show The West Wing. More recently though, Hissrich announced that she would be working on the The Witcher TV show which has now had the script for the pilot completed.

The Witcher TV show is originally based off a eight-book series written by Andrzej Sapkowski. The good news that fans of already fantastic game series developed by CD Projekt Red as well as the book series will be happy to know that the creator Sapkowski will be working on the TV show as a creative consultant.

Another thing that should make fans of the series more comfortable is that the Polish company Platige Films who worked on the trailer "The Trail" has also partnered up with Netflix to work on the TV show.
