According to Martinez, Ubisoft couldn't be happier with the partnership of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and the Nintendo Switch, infact he remarked that Ubisoft as a whole is "very pleased."

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was the third best-selling game on the Nintendo Switch for 2017, this could be been the case because of the consoles immense sales, Ubisoft saying the portable hybrid has "strong momentum" for the future.
