KIOXIA XL-FLASH generation 2 flash memory is all about low-latency, high-performance, and also benefits from better efficiency than traditional TLC-based SSDs. And it's a custom architecture designed to scale, with KIOXIA noting that future generations are targeting 100 million IOPS. For large-scale AI deployments, it's a solution that significantly lowers costs by removing the need to keep adding expensive HBM.
