The news is courtesy of the on-going legal battle between Apple and Qualcomm, with teh Snapdragon 845 showing up on Qualcomm's ITC filing that wants to ban iPhone sales in the US. Samsung's next-gen Galaxy S9 is said to be the first to rock the Snapdragon 845, and will be released in early 2018. LG is also touted to use Qualcomm's latest chip in their next-gen flagship due out in 2018.
