Our first look at Samsung's next-gen Galaxy S8 handset
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 is looking mighty, mighty fine.
Samsung is preparing for the big launch of its new Galaxy S8 smartphone, something that has been teased with renders - and now, BGR is hearing that the renders are based on information from a source within the factories that are manufacturing Samsung's new Galaxy S8.
We should expect a Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 edge with some of the things that made the Note 7 an explosive hit, but the curved Galaxy S8 edge is doing some strange things to me - I can feel my wallet getting closer to my hands. It's looking damn beautiful with the entire front of the phone covered in the gigantic display, with some Samsung branding at the bottom - no physical home button here, guys.
The back looks like the previous Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, with a lack of fingerprint sensor - which has me worried. I'm hoping we see Samsung leap forward and embed the fingerprint scanner into the display, which would be next-freakin-gen. We should expect Samsung to unveil the new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 edge sometime towards the end of February, or early March - with a release in April.
