Samsung rumored to launch the Galaxy S8 in mid-April
Samsung's next-gen Galaxy S8 will reportedly launch in mid-April.
Samsung has done an amazing job digging out of the hole that the Galaxy Note 7 created, with new rumors circulating that the company won't launch its new Galaxy S8 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress next month, but instead it will launch it in April.
The new rumors have Samsung launching the Galaxy S8 on April 18, with an anonymous source telling The Investor: "Samsung Electronics has confirmed that the release schedule has been set in mid-April, possibly in the third week". The company is hoping for mammoth sales of the Galaxy S8, and rightfully so - as there will not be a Galaxy Note 7 successor, so Samsung's smartphone eggs are all in the S8's basket.
