Computex Taipei 2009: During NVIDIA's Tegra press conference in Taipei last week during Computex, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang gave what I thought was a pretty interesting summary of the history of PC graphics from 1994 to present.
Check out the video below - it is rather quite inspiring for anyone involved in the tech industry. The final demo in the video is rendered in real-time, it is not a pre-recorded video - that is what is important to remember. We certainly have came a long way.
Jen-Hsun claims this is only just the beginning, but one could argue when you reach photo realistic gaming graphics, in which direction to you move forward from there to improve on the already impressive graphics we see today?
I guess we'll find out in the years ahead.
