TL;DR: Montech's upcoming F738 PRO PC case features a dual-chamber design with a separate PSU section and unique patent-pending adjustable front panel "window blinds" for airflow control. It includes two 170mm intake fans and a special bracket to prevent shipping damage, with a more traditional F738 VISION version also planned.

It's always fun to see something new when you're at Computex, especially when it comes to PC cases and gear built for enthusiasts. And that's exactly what we saw when we visited Montech's booth and caught a glimpse of the company's new F738 PRO case, due for release later this year in black or white.

The Montech F738 PRO features a dual-chamber design that will be familiar to those who have been keeping up with case designs. This means you've got a separate section for the PSU, allowing for cleaner-looking builds and improved airflow. Where it gets interesting is when you take a look at the front panel. At first, we thought the vertical strips were there for style, much like wood-style paneling has become popular in recent times. However, after a quick demo from Montech, we found that these are essentially 'window blinds' you can open, angle, or close to adjust airflow and the overall look.

Montech notes that the design is its own and brand-new, and that it's patent-pending, so don't expect to see it pop up on many other cases in the near future. As for how you open, angle, and close the panels, there's a physical slider/control found on the bottom of the panels in between the two floating chambers.

Behind the panels, you've got two large 170mm fans for intake, so the cooling potential is definitely here. Montech told us that the F in the naming stands for 'floating,' which was the main concept behind the design. The two chambers definitely look like two individual pieces, which is why they will ship with a special bracket/holder to minimize potential shipping damage and also double as a phone holder that you can remove after getting everything set up.

One thing to note is that we were told the prototype Montech F738 PRO cases on display at the show will likely omit the integrated display in the bottom chamber to make them more affordable. Montech is also set to release a more traditional panoramic-view version of the case, the F738 VISION, which features a tempered-glass front panel.
