Arrowhead keeps the 1990s macho chaos evolving with Helldivers 2's new warbond, adding in two new mechs into the digital pass for the first time ever.

Helldivers 2's latest warbond continues the franchise's penchant for overpowered satirical military warfare by adding in two new playable exo mechs that are capable of unleashing unique havoc.
The Exo Experts warbond includes the EXO-55 Breakthrough, a shield-toting sci-fi phalanx shieldbearer made specifically for defensive measures, and the EXO-51 Lumberer with its anti-tank cannon and explosive flamethrower. Arrowhead was obviously a fan of the old Mech Warrior games and the classic Exosquad cartoon from decades ago.
Other additions include a multi-barreled MGX-42 Bullet Storm, which looks straight out of a deep sci-fi film, alongside the SMG-203 Gallant with its high rate of fire, and the P-33 Missile Pistol that shoots a heat-seeking missile at enemies.

- Cost - 1,000 Super Credits (approx. $10)
- Release Date - April 28, 2026.
- Key Inclusions - New mech suits (EXO-51 Lumberer and EXO-55 Breakthrough) and new armor sets (O-2 Heavy Operator, O-3 Free Spirit).
While fans are typically excited for new Helldivers 2 content, many are now calling for some sort of reduction in warbond pricing. Exo Experts will be the 23rd warbond that has been released for Helldivers 2, and with each paid unlock costing around $10, players can spend hundreds of dollars on Super Credits and still not be able to unlock everything.
That's by design, of course, and it's no surprise that Helldivers 2 has been one of Sony's best-earning live games on the market, despite the firm having only published and funded the project and having to share profits with Arrowhead.
For its part, Arrowhead has said that it will slow down on big seasonal content drops so it can roll out various fixes and update in-game code/network infrastructures to ensure long-term efficiency.
