COLORFUL's new Rimbook L1 is an affordable productivity laptop

COLORFUL has introduced a new notebook and laptop that offers solid productivity performance and battery life in an affordable, lightweight package. The COLORFUL Rimbook L1 is part of the company's new Rimbook series, inspired by the "rim of a wheel" that will keep you "moving forward with purpose."

Marketing-speak aside, the COLORFUL Rimbook L1 is a lightweight and thin laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-12450H, which also features 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage for $399. The Intel Core i5-12450H might not be the most powerful mobile processor on the market, but for $400, it makes the COLORFUL Rimbook L1 stand out from other affordable notebooks that ship with lower specs.

The COLORFUL Rimbook L1 also includes a 15.6-inch 1080p display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 300-nit brightness rating, with support for a multi-display setup thanks to the USB-C port and HDMI port on the left side of the device. There's also a 2.5 Gbps LAN port in addition to Wi-Fi 6 for added versatility, and multiple USB ports for external devices.
