TL;DR: Elgato will unveil its "Stream Deck Everywhere" strategy at Computex, featuring modular Stream Decks in 6, 15, and 32-key versions, a Network Dock for Ethernet connectivity, Virtual Stream Deck software for customizable desktop controls, and faster Scissor Keys for enhanced precision, expanding streaming and content creation tools.

Computex is just around the corner and Elgato is announcing it will be unveiling what it calls the "Stream Deck Everywhere" strategy at the trade show.

Stream Deck Modules is exactly what it says it is - modular Stream Decks that will be available in 6, 15, and 32-key variations. The idea behind this product is to enable hobbyists, content creators, streamers, and manufacturers to design their dream Stream Deck that can be added into their own unique project. The modules come housed in a durable aluminium chassis.

The Network Dock for Stream Deck is aimed at users who want to expand their control surface beyond the desktop. By being mounted to a surface and connected directly to the device, the Network Dock unlocks wired Ethernet connectivity for Stream Deck devices, enabling control of the Stream Deck without having to be connected directly to a desktop.

The Virtual Stream Deck is probably the feature most content creators and streamers are excited about. It's a software-only version of Stream Deck that enables users to have a customizable virtual Stream Deck that can be accessed from the desktop. Corsair, the owner of Elgato, informs us that users will be able to place interactive control pads anywhere on their desktop, lock them in place for quick access, or summon them via a mouse click/hotkey. The possibilities of controlling Stream Deck-compatible devices/features are endless here.

Notably, Virtual Stream Deck will be initially launching exclusively for owners of Stream Deck hardware and select Corsair peripherals, such as the Xeneon Edge touchscreen monitor or the Scimitar Elite WE SE Mouse. However, Elgato intends to roll out the Virtual Stream Deck software to more devices soon.

Scissor Keys are coming to Stream Decks, which provides a faster, crisper alternative to the iconic membrane design. These keys have a shorter travel time and have sharper actuation, enabling enhanced speed and precision. Corsair has stated these keys are closer to how keys on a keyboard feel when pressed, enabling users feel a more responsiveness when pressing each key.

Corsair and Elgato will showcase all of the above products and features at Computex next week, where we will experience them hands-on.
