The Witcher 4 won't be out until 2027, CD Projekt management tells investors.

Ciri's new adventure in the Witcher continuation won't begin in 2026. The Witcher 4 won't be out until 2027 at the very earliest, CD Projekt management has conveyed to investors in a recent company earnings brief. The game is currently in full production at the studio, and as of the end of February 2025, there's around 400 developers working on The Witcher 4.
In the company's FY2024 webcast CEO Adam Kicinski said this of the company's financial net profit targets for 2025-2028:"Even though we don't plan to release the Witcher 4 by the end of 2026, we are still driven by this financial goal."
In the Q&A portion of the call, Kicinski gives a curt answer when asked for more clarity:
"We are not going to announce the precise launch date for the game yet, all we could share for now to give more visibility to investors is that the game will not be launched within the timeframe of the first target of the incentive program, which ends December 31, 2026."
Not much is known about The Witcher 4 other than it will star Ciri, and official details are still light:
