CD Projekt may be able to release the new Witcher saga in its entirety in the next 6 years, senior management for the Polish games-maker has told investors.

The Witcher 4 is in full production within Unreal Engine 5, and while progress appears to be going smoothly with 400 developers working on the project, CD Projekt did say the game won't release until 2027. With that news in mind, can CD Projekt deliver the full new Witcher trilogy in the same span as the original games?
From The Witcher in 2008 to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2015, it took nearly 7 years for Geralt's three-game adventure to come to a close. Can CD Projekt do the same and release Ciri's trilogy in, let's say, six years after the first game's release? Maybe.
In a recent call with investors, CD projekt co-CEO Michal Nowakowski says that this could be possible. That means we could get Ciri's full saga by 2033 or thereabouts.
Question: I have a question about the whole new Witcher trilogy. You have probably already had some experience with the production of the new Witcher based on this work and observations of the entire development process so far, also taking into account the use of the new Unreal Engine. Do you think that it is possible to release the entire trilogy in a six-year window?
CD Projekt Co-CEO Michał Nowakowski: So at this moment in time, we see nothing that would prove this goal to be impossible. Our experience of working with UE5 is actually pretty good. We're progressing as planned. Any hiccups that we encounter...we are able to straighten out ourselves and sometimes with support from the Epic team. So nothing changes in terms of our outlook towards the frequency of releases in the Witcher 3 trilogy.
