OCZ releases PC2-6400 4GB packs designed for Gamers

We just got news from the folks over at OCZ Technology that they've just released a new memory kit which is designed for gamers using DX10 in Windows Vista. The kit comes with a couple 2048MB modules that are rated at 800MHz DDR with 5-5-5-18 timings.

You'll see more and more companies coming out with 4GB memory packs for Vista soon but it seems like OCZ were the first.

GeForce 8800 Vista driver (100.54) coming Jan 30th!

Users of Windows Vista and nVidia's GeForce 8800 graphics cards can almost rejoice!

nVidia plan on releasing a Vista beta driver to their website for public download on Tuesday, January 30th which includes SLI support. D3D performance is set to be improved over the Release 95 Vista drivers, and is on par with Windows XP games and applications in some cases (except OpenGL).

100.54 will be out around the same the time of the Windows Vista release but what do AMD and ATI have up their sleeves? Only we know but you will soon, too!
