Samsung is introducing four multi-mode monitors at Gamescom 2026, including a 360Hz 49-inch QD-OLED panel and a 27-inch Odyssey G6 with a whopping 1100Hz refresh rate. In a blog post, Samsung announced that its four new displays will be unveiled during the convention: the G95SJ, G75SJ, G80SJ, and G60H.
Arguably the most eye-catching display of the bunch is the new Odyssey G6 G60H, with its blisteringly fast 1100Hz refresh rate. The display features dual-mode functionality to reach this sky-high refresh rate, dropping to just 720p to reach 1100Hz. In its other mode, the monitor displays up to 600Hz at 1440p. Unlike all of the other monitors Samsung is announcing, this display is the only non-OLED monitor featuring an IPS panel with a 1ms response time.

The Odyssey G9 OLED G95SJ is a 49-inch QD-OLED dual-mode monitor with up to a 360Hz refresh rate at 1440p. The dual-mode feature allows users to switch between 5120 x 1440 at 360Hz and 2560 x 720 at 720Hz. The G95SJ also comes with Samsung's Penta Tandem technology featuring a five-layer panel structure that is reportedly 1.3x more efficient and provides twice the lifespan of its previous QD-OLED technology. The display is also rated at up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness on a 3% window at 4K resolution.
The Odyssey OLED G8 G80SJ goes a step further with triple mode functionality, giving gamers three resolution and refresh rate combinations to choose from: 4K at 360Hz, 1440p at 520Hz, and 1080p at 680Hz. Samsung has also paired the display with its Glare Free technology that is reportedly 54% less glossy than "conventional anti-reflection film". The monitor also supports VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 600, and comes with one UHBR20 DisplayPort 2.1 connector, two HDMI ports, one USB-C port with 98 watts of power delivery and a USB hub with two downstream ports, and KVM support.
