I'm sure you've probably heard about Farming Simulator by now but something that is new is that its developer Giants Software announcing a new Farming Simulator League, which throws the farming simulation hit into the world of esports tournaments.

Giants Software is throwing $280,000 worth of prizes into the events which will end in a huge grand final at FarmCon 2020, with 10 tournaments taking place at huge gaming events like Gamescom and Paris Games Week. The upcoming Farming Simulator League will have people battling it out in Farming Simulator 19, attracting huge sponsors with Intel and Logitech entering the advertising ring.

Christian Ammann, CEO of Giants Software, said: "That's when we realized that that's something that we could potentially do on a bit more professional level. We have a unique opportunity. We believe we found the right mix of real farming and fun to play game elements to ensure everyone will find it entertaining".
