SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive Classics come to Nintendo Switch

SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive titles will soon be playable on the Nintendo Switch.

So you are a fan of the classic SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive titles, well you are just in luck as SEGA has announced that plenty of those classic titles are making their way to the Nintendo Switch.

SEGA has taken to their Twitter and YouTube Channel to announce that Nintendo Switch gamers will soon be blessed with a slew of SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive titles. According to the announcement, Switch players can expect a massive 50 Genesis Classic titles coming to the Nintendo Switch, a full list has been provided below.

SEGA will be bringing some classic titles such as Golden Axe, Phantasy Star, Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, Kid Chameleon and ToeJam & Earl. Unfortunately there has been no official release date announced for any of these titles debuting to the handheld console, from the trailer it is shown that they will be arriving sometime during "this winter." Since that is the case we will be sure to update you with any new information coming out about the ports and more importantly a specific release date when its announced.
