Speedrunners raise $2.1 million for Doctors Without Borders

If you thought speedrunning was useless, not when they raise $2.1 million for Doctors Without Borders.

During a huge week of speedrunning mayhem at the Summer Games Done Quick 2018 event, there were some amazing things completed in terms of running through games like a robot, and money raised for a great cause.

But this summer, Games Done Quick (the YouTube channel) and hosts of the event raised $2.1 million for Doctors Without Borders. Every single speedrun was recored, and then uploaded to the Games Done Quick YT channel, and there are a bunch to watch, including DOOM and Super Mario Odyssey.
