In a recent behind the scenes video by Santa Monica Studios, Kratos' fighting style has been revealed showing off the motion capture for the God of War character.
Eric Jacobus is the stunt-man behind the movements of Kratos, the above video details how Kratos' brutal fighting style came to life. Jacobus says that Kratos' fighting style is best described as "direct, straightforward, and never stopping."
Jacobus was selected from his work as a YouTuber, his channel is based around re-creating fight scenes from games. Santa Monica Studios asked Jacobus to send them videos of how he would fight as Kratos, so Jacobus sent them the clips and Santa Monica Studios decided to hire him as Kratos' combat actor.
