MSI took out the Golden Award for its impressive GT83VR TITAN SLI gaming laptop, that comes in configurations with either GeForce GTX 1080 SLI or GTX 1070 SLI, it is one of the beastiest gaming laptops on the market. MSI's awesome GT83VR TITAN SLI gaming laptop is also the world's first Nahimic VR with 7.1 sound, providing some of the best audio you can get in VR - all on-the-go.

Best Design Award: MSI VR ONE backpack

MSI scoops 5 awards for Computex Best Choice Award 2017 07

I've only spend a little time with MSI's VR ONE backpack, and I've loved it. It looks like it would be heavier than it really is, weighing in at just 3.6kg. VR ONE is a backpack PC that has removable batteries, allowing for on-the-go VR gaming on your back. Compared to VR gaming right now where you're tethered, the cable can run down into the backpack and out of your way. Business use is perfect for this, as well as engineering and VR app development.

Category Award: Vortex G25VR

The next product from MSI to win an award is the Vortex G25VR system, which is a super-small PC that is VR capable, with MSI selling it to be integrated into VR arcade machines, and other similar designs. Vortex G25VR has two fans and 8 heat pipes to keep its component cool, while it also features Hi-Res Audio and Nahimic 2+ VR technologies.

Category Award: X1000 Network Security Gateway

MSI also has networking products, with their X1000 Network Security Gateway scooping up an award with its unique cooling fin design, allowing the chips that are operating at high temperatures be cooled by the design which also looks great. MSI has designed the X1000 for wall-mounted outdoor use, with the fillister in the middle and drainage channels on both the left and right allowing water to drain down easily. Impressive stuff there, MSI.

The company took out a fifth award with the Jury's Special Award for its Telematics Solution for Commercial Vehicles, something the company specially designed for "commercial vehicles, this solution can be extensively applicable to buses, coaches, city bus, trucks, logistic vehicles and other vocational vehicles. With the integration of fleet management, driver performance, safety, and multimedia, it is a smart and comprehensive solution that helps operators optimize fleet efficiency, reduce operating costs and enhance driver and cargo safety. Currently, this product has been approved and accepted by several major car manufacturers, as well as seamlessly integrates with the leading brand of ADAS".
