It looks like Slightly Mad Studios is putting everything they've got into Project CARS 2, with Creative Director Andy Tudor recently speaking with RedBull about the Project CARS 2 and its support for the PS4 Pro and upcoming Project Scorpio console.
Tudor said: "Yes, absolutely. We're all gadget freaks at our studio, so if there's any wheel, pedal, VR, second-screen apps, triple screen, 21:9 monitors, or consoles, yeah, PSVR, PS4 Pro, and also Microsoft Scorpio, we will always be looking to utilise them in some way. I can confirm that PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio will get some sort of improvements, but we can't really talk about the Scorpio stuff at the moment, because not very much is known. You'll have to wait until Microsoft themselves reveal more information on that".
Personally, I'm loving the scope of what SMS has with Project CARS 2 - as they're supporting so many different products and technologies, across multiple platforms. We have VR support for both the PC and PS4, upgraded visuals and rendering resolutions for PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio, 21:9 and triple-monitor setups on the PC, and "any wheel, pedal" you can find.
Project CARS 2 will launch later this year for the PC, PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Project Scorpio consoles.
