DirectX 12 support coming to Deus Ex tomorrow

DirectX 12 support for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is imminent.

True to its word, developer Nixxes Software is delivering DirectX 12 support in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided this week. Specifically, it will launch tomorrow, according to Eidos-Montréal Community Manager 'Poticha.'

Support for the superior API was delayed prior to launch with Nixxes stating it had "extra work and optimizations to do" in order to "deliver a compelling experience." Hopefully, it's all worth it; the studio's DirectX 12 work on Rise of the Tomb Raider is certainly encouraging performance-wise.
