be quiet! announces Pure Power 9 in modular and fixed cable designs

CES 2016 - be quiet! is at it again, adding yet another model to its power supply lineup, this time in the form of its Pure Power 9 product which is set to replace the Pure Power 8.

Being released in both modular and fixed-cable versions, the Pure Power 9 features lower noise levels and higher performance than its predecessor. Brandishing an 80PLUS Silver rating and a brand new 120mm be quiet! fan, this product will see release in 400w, 500w, 600w and 700w models, across both the modular and fixed cable design.

Other advancements of the Pure Power 9 over the 8 includes an improved cable set, more SATA connectors, a longer P8 which measures 700mm and a longer 24 pin connector at 550mm. Further features include all black wiring and black connectors, plus flat peripheral and PCIE cables.

All models are packed with a three-year warranty, with the modular version to launch in March 2016 and the fixed cable to follow in June of the same year.
