CES 2016 - SanDisk has shown further commitment to the portable storage realm with its recent announcement of an all-terrain SSD and new flash drives.
The rugged portable SSD is named the SanDisk Extreme 510 and comes packed with a 480GB drive within. Capable of protecting your drive with its rubber bumper and IP55 water and dust resistance rating, this new product transfers files at up to 430 MB/s. Further featuring 128-bit encryption, this product is available for $249.99 with a two-year warranty.
Adding to the portable storage realm is SanDisk's new highest capacity flash drive, the Connect Wireless Stick and its sibling, the Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0. Storing a massive 200GB, SanDisk's new Connect Wireless stick is compatible with Apple and Windows desktop or mobile devices, allowing users to stream content or transfer files around. The Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 is marketed towards those looking at smaller solutions, allowing users to manage their Android device storage via the SanDisk Memory one app, making full use of this products' 128GB storage. The Connect Wireless Stick is available for $119.99 with the Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 being now on the shelves for $59.99.
