With the release of Star Wars Battlefront right around the corner, AMD has pushed out its new Catalyst 15.11.1 beta drivers which deliver performance optimizations for Star Wars Battlefront, and more.
The new Catalyst 15.11.1 beta drivers aren't very specific when it comes to the performance optimizations made for Star Wars Battlefront, but we should expect (fingers crossed) to see Crossfire support at launch. Battlefront isn't the only game to receive some performance lovin' from AMD, with some added performance optimizations provided for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and Fallout 4.
AMD's new Catalyst 15.11.1 beta drivers don't include Crossfire support for Fallout 4 just yet, but that's more of an issue for developer Bethesda, which hasn't done too well with the game engine itself. NVIDIA has also missed the multi-GPU boat when it comes to Fallout 4 thanks to Bethesda.
