Microsoft beginning foray into 'holographic computing'

Microsoft is hosting a live event tomorrow to discuss some new Windows 10 devices, but the company has pulled back the curtain ahead of time on one of them: the HoloLens.

Described as the "first fully untethered, see-through holographic computer", the HoloLens essentially turns your life into The Minority Report, integrating computer functions into the physical world around you to produce what Microsoft called "mixed reality". We've played enough Deus Ex: Human Revolution to know where this is headed.
