TechPowerUp's very, very popular graphics subsystem information and monitoring utility, GPU-Z has now reached 0.4.9 - the program shows you important information like which graphics hardware is in your system, allows you to monitor parameters such as clock speeds, voltages, temperatures, fan speeds and usage (on supported GPU's).

GPU-Z 0.4.9 includs support for the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX570, support for the detection of a PCI-Express 3.0 interface, detection of upcoming entry-level AMD Radeon HD 6000 series GPU's and a large number of stability and reliability updates.

With this version in particular, PowerColor and TechPowerUp have returned with the PowerColor Hardware giveaway. The giveaway includes next-generation graphics cards - including two upcoming high-end PowerColor Radeon graphics cards, two PowerColor HD 6870 PCS+ and two PowerColor HD 6850 PCS+ graphics cards.
