The biggest surprise in this rumor is the fact that day-one releases will reportedly stop starting sometime between February and April 2027.
The new ad-supported Game Pass tier will allegedly cost you $12.99/month, while the ad-free Game Pass subscription will cost $19.99/month or $239.99 annually. Yes, the standard subscription will be cheaper, but without day-one releases, many might not bother. Access to online multiplayer alone will also be available as a $10.99/month subscription. Cloud streaming will reportedly become a separate add-on that costs $5.99 for 25 hours of playtime.
